Organic Green Tea
Organic green tea is the process of growing the tea without using any chemicals. This type of farming use fairly a lot of time, money, and dedication. The soil is free from any chemicals and the soil is allowed to nourish by itself, and result with health-giving nutrients.
The soil where the tea is grown is enriched with only natural compost. A layer of mulch is added on top of the soil to retain the moisture. By adding a layer of mulch, it provides extra nutrients to the soil. The green tea plants is constantly monitored to prevent any infection from pest. With this much work put into the care of the plants, is the reason why organically grown tea plants are more expensive.
Green tea, if grown organically, the plants can live more than 100 years. This gives an advantage to the farmers since replacing the green tea plants is seldom, which results in lower cost to replacing them. The disadvantage is the maintenance for the tea plants.
Organic green tea have a distinctive taste to it from other teas, that are not grown organically. By using just your taste buds, the taste of organic green tea, have unmeasured tasting pleasures.
Green tea is packed with antioxidants which have been credited with a wide variety of health benefits. Chinese herbalists used organic green tea for everything controlling high cholesterol to diabetes management. Drinking green tea on a daily basis can reduce triglyceride concentrations and increase the production of good cholesterol.
